Now that the bottom area of the head where the neck should be is fitted, click onto Claude's head, select all his vertices, and click "Attach". If you do not know how, i will make a tutorial about it later on. Make sure you have UVMapped the player's head first, the one you wanna rig, not claudes, make sure you've uvmapped the head to claude's player.bmp! Move the bottom area of the head where the neck should be to fit claudes neck without any gaps. Move the head to where claudes head is, aline it up, so it will be like this:īut now, the neck area below the head will have gaps, go the the toolbar and click Vertices from Element. Now delete it so it will be just the head, as we are just rigging the head A-T-M. Click Editable Mesh and Element, select the whole model except the head, like this:
Go to the toolbar should be in the near top right corner. Now, select all of your peds skeleton, use ALT to de-select the model, and Delete the skeleton by pressing "DEL" So now it should be facing the same way as claude's player model, after done, it should look like this. Rotate the model + skeleton 90 degrees to the right, like this:
Now import your model you want to rig to GTA3, for me, it's bmydj from SA. Now that you have extracted and imported Player.dff into 3dsmax, move it to the right/left away from the position that it was imported in. Now you probably have a ped you want to rig, so we'll carry on to the next step. Go to the models folder and open up GTA3.img.Įxtract Player.dff, and import it in 3ds max.īUT! Make sure that before you import the model, make sure the toolbar is like this: Now, go to your GTA3 Directory which should be in either "My Documents" or "C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA3". Then click Open IMG which can be seen here
Open up your TXD Workshop which you can download here.
